2022 Hillsboro Civic Leadership Academy members are preparing to present recommendations for new Hillsboro City Council Ward boundaries during the November 15 City Council Work Session from 6 – 7 pm.
Since late September, 13 Academy members have been meeting with key stakeholders, reviewing 2020 Census data, and reviewing boundary criteria passed by City Council based on the community engagement conducted earlier this year.
The Academy is led by staff from Portland State University’s Hatfield School of Government with support from City of Hillsboro staff.
2022 Academy members are: Barry Johnson-Smith, Bella Rossi-Vose, Daria Bigham Martin, Dishanta Kim, Eddie Plourde, Erin Rae Russell Smith, Hugo Gutierrez, Jorge Cano-Rodriguez, Kevin Rancik, Nataliia Makohon, Rubby Marquez Tellez, Sara Alpulche, and Zhulma Arrobo.
