The City of Sherwood Economic Development Office is joining with our economic development partners at the City of Forest Grove, Tigard and Wilsonville to offer this SCORE Portland webinar on” How to Build a Website.”
When it comes to designing a website, it’s easy to be overwhelmed by questions such
as:
• How do you pick a website address?
• What’s the right platform to build on?
• Should you use Squarespace? WordPress?
• What content do you need to include?
This workshop on May 18 is presented by SCORE Portland and website designer Elliot Olson (she/her) of Studio Anansi, who will answer these questions and more. We’ll
cover why your business needs a website, the dangers of relying on social media, and how to prepare strategic content for your audience. Plus, you’ll learn five crucial
tips to get the most bang for your website investment. This workshop is geared towards business owners, nonprofits, and entrepreneurs who
are ready for a new website or to redesign an outdated site. We’ll cover shared resources and holistic strategy. No coding or technical skills are needed. You must register here to attend.
