Utah Tech defeats Northern Colorado 11-5; Hillsboro alum Jackson Price contributes on the mound

The Utah Tech Trailblazers claimed an 11-5 win against the Northern Colorado Bears in an NCAA Division I baseball game held Saturday, Feb. 28, at 4:05 p.m. Jackson Price, a former Hillsboro High School standout, is currently a member of the Trailblazers roster.

The teams played at Bruce Hurst Field for their third meeting of the season. In the earlier Saturday matchup, Utah Tech came out on top with a 6-5 victory over the Bears.

Price pitched two innings during the game and tallied three strikeouts.

Utah Tech is set to play Northern Colorado again on Sunday, March 1, at 12:05 p.m. at Bruce Hurst Field.
