Comment on the Denney Road Project from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 8 at the Beaverton Operations Center, 9600 SW Allen Blvd.
The design team seeks public input before start of design for improvements to Denney Road, between Scholls Ferry Road (Highway 210) and Highway 217. The proposed design includes bike lanes, sidewalks and streetlights. Left turn lanes and a mid-block crossing are also being considered.
Project design is expected to continue through spring 2024. Additional open houses are planned. The estimated $6.3 million project is funded through the Major Streets Transportation Improvement Program (MSTIP), the city of Beaverton and utility reimbursements.
