WASHINGTON COUNTY: Ballots to be Mailed for May 17th Primary Election

Washington County issued the following announcement Apr. 26. 

Ballots for the May 17, 2022, Primary Election start getting mailed April 27th, 2022. If you are a registered voter, start checking your mailbox for your ballot. If by May 3rd you have not received your ballot, you can request a replacement ballot by using the Ballot Request Form at washcovotes.org or contact the Elections Office at 503-846-5800.

The voting deadline is 8 p.m. on the day of the election, Tuesday, May 17, 2022. Ballots that are mailed must be postmarked by election day. Ballots deposited in an official drop box must be received by 8

p.m. on election day. As of January 1, 2022, Oregon will allow for ballots that are postmarked by Election Day and received no later than seven days after an election to be accepted and counted. You can track your ballot status through Oregonvotes.gov or BallotTrax.

If you would like to participate in the closed primary election you must be registered to vote or change party affiliation by April 26, 2022. Registration cards postmarked by this date or submitted online no later than 11:59 p.m. are valid. The quickest way to verify your registration is online at oregonvotes.gov/register.

The following drop sites will be available after the ballots are mailed out on April 27, 2022. They will remain open till 8 p.m. election night.
