Cost of college was unchanged for all students at Summit Salon Academy-Portland

Tuition and fees were unchanged for 2018-19 at Summit Salon Academy-Portland, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Oregon students paid $17,000 to attend the two-year private for-profit institution this year – $720 more than the $16,280 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 80 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 31 students received grants or scholarships totaling $132,290 and 29 students took out student loans totaling more than $191,281.

Including all undergraduates (56), 52 students used grants or scholarships totaling $213,278, and 50 students took out $298,990 in federal student loans.
