OSAAtoday has released its statewide Girls Basketball Coaches Polls for all classifications for the 2025-2026 winter season. The polls, published on January 26, are compiled with input from high school girls varsity basketball coaches across Oregon.
The organization expressed appreciation to the coaches who participated and encouraged more to join, particularly in the 5A classification. According to OSAAtoday, “Thanks to all the coaches who took the time and had the expertise to contribute their opinions to this endeavor.” Coaches interested in voting can contact OSAAtoday by email for information on participation.
These weekly polls will be published every Monday throughout the winter season starting next week. OSAAtoday emphasized that these rankings are meant only to generate interest and discussion within the community. They clarified that “these polls are for generating interest and discussion only and have no impact on the OSAA’s RPI and Colley ratings that form the basis of the OSAA’s rankings for playoff purposes.”
The poll results provide an overview of team standings as recorded at www.osaa.org as of Sunday prior to publication. For each classification (6A through 1A), teams are ranked based on coach votes, with first-place votes indicated in parentheses and pre-season ranking shown in brackets.
