OSAAtoday released its statewide Baseball Coaches Polls for all classifications on March 30. The polls include rankings from coaches across Oregon and are intended to generate interest and discussion during the spring season.

The rankings provide an overview of how teams are performing in each classification, but they do not affect the official Oregon School Activities Association (OSAA) playoff rankings. The OSAA’s RPI and Colley ratings continue to be the basis for playoff seeding.

In Class 6A, Clackamas leads with a record of 5-1, followed by Central Catholic and Jesuit. For Class 5A, Thurston holds the top spot despite a balanced record, while Summit and Crater round out the top three. Junction City is first in Class 4A with an undefeated record through Sunday’s games. Cascade Christian tops Class 3A after receiving eleven first-place votes. In the combined 2A/1A category, Kennedy stands at number one with six wins and no losses.

Polls will be published every other Monday throughout the spring season. The results show shifts from preseason expectations as some teams have dropped out or moved up based on recent performances.

These coach-contributed polls aim to highlight competitive trends but remain separate from any official postseason determinations.
