OSAAtoday released its 2025 preseason statewide Softball Coaches Polls in all classifications on Mar. 12. The polls reflect the opinions of coaches from across Oregon who contributed their expertise to the rankings.

The purpose of these polls is to generate interest and discussion among teams, players, and fans ahead of the spring season. OSAAtoday said that the polls do not affect the Oregon School Activities Association’s RPI and Colley ratings, which are used to determine official playoff rankings.

In Class 6A, Sherwood leads with ten first-place votes and a total of 151 points. Jesuit follows in second place with one first-place vote and 112 points. Sunset and West Linn are tied for third, while North Medford rounds out the top five. Other schools receiving significant votes include Mountainside, West Salem, and Sheldon.

For Class 5A, Ridgeview tops the poll with eight first-place votes and a total of 89 points. Crater is second with one first-place vote, followed by Thurston in third place. In Class 4A, St. Helens holds the top spot with three first-place votes and 99 points, while Astoria is close behind.

Dayton leads Class 3A with six first-place votes and a total of 114 points. South Umpqua is second with two first-place votes. In Class 2A/1A, Weston-McEwen claims the number one position with five first-place votes and a total of 101 points.

OSAAtoday announced that updated polls will be published every other Tuesday during the spring season starting March 31.
