OSAA announces 2025-2026 All-State boys basketball teams for all classifications

The Oregon School Activities Association announced on Mar. 30 the All-State boys basketball teams for the 2025-2026 season, recognizing players and coaches across all six classifications.

The All-State selections are determined at the end of each winter and basketball season. Players are first nominated by their leagues, after which coaches from every team vote for Player of the Year, Coach of the Year, and select athletes for each team. To be eligible, coaches must participate in the voting process.

For Class 6A, Jemai Lake from Tualatin was named Player of the Year while Aaron Newkirk from Oregon City received Coach of the Year honors. The First Team included Lake along with Avery Johnson (Sherwood), Elijah Thompson (Southridge), Pat Vialva Jr. (Tualatin), Robbie Long III (Central Catholic), and Zamir “Bam” Paschal (Central Catholic). Second and Third Teams as well as Honorable Mentions were also listed.

In Class 5A, Bryce Lowenbach from Crook County earned Player of the Year and Jason Mumm from Crook County was selected as Coach of the Year. The First Team featured Lowenbach alongside Adrian “Fuzzy” Montague (Parkrose), Foster Kettering (Summit), Jaxon Lawson (Canby), Lucas LaBounty (Thurston), and Rigdhen Khyungra (La Salle Prep).

Other classifications recognized standout players such as Aaidyn Bokuro from Newport in Class 4A; Cooper Cemore from Riverside in Class 3A; Eli Silbernagel from Regis and Chimi Gilbert from Trinity Lutheran sharing Co-Player of the Year honors in Class 2A; and Jason Hull from South Wasco County leading Class 1A honorees. Coaches Nick Brown (Madras – 4A), Cole Ashby (Riverside – 3A), Jason Koehnke (Regis – 2A) as well as Levi Voigt (Prairie City/Burnt River) and Odin Miller (Union) in Class 1A were also recognized.

Full lists for each classification include First through Third Teams along with Honorable Mentions, highlighting top performers throughout Oregon high school boys basketball during this season.
