Johnny Ingalls helps lead Linfield to 4-1 victory over Pacific on March 14

On Saturday, March 14, at 3 p.m., Johnny Ingalls, a former Jesuit High School standout, aided his current college team, the Linfield Wildcats, to a 4-1 win in NCAA Division III baseball against the Pacific Boxers.

Roy Helser Field hosted the contest, marking the Wildcats’ second meeting with the Boxers this season. Their previous game, also on Saturday, March 14, ended with a 6-5 Wildcats victory.

Ingalls pitched five innings, yielding one earned run, walking three and striking out two batters.

The Wildcats are set to play the Pacific Boxers again on Sunday, March 15, at 12 p.m. at Roy Helser Field.
