On Friday, May 30, former Sunset High School standout Sierra McKenna’s current collegiate team the Linfield Wildcats lost 4-8 against the Virginia Wesleyan Marlins in the NCAA Division III Softball Championship.

The game took place at Inspiration Field at 11 a.m. and was the first matchup against the Virginia Wesleyan Marlins in the tournament.

The Linfield Wildcats’ next game will take place on Saturday, May 31 at 1:30 p.m. at Inspiration Field.
